Tropical Storm Fay

It's been pretty rainy and windy here so far. We are under a Tornado Warning still. Power has only flashed off once, which is my main concern with the aquarium. It's really not as bad as the news people make it out to be. It's blowing a good 40+ here and pouring rain pretty heavy. Still hasn't made landfall on the west coast yet.

 

Its never as bad as the news make it out to be , I was in Gulf Port Ms.. During the one in 95 or 96 I'd look at the news and wonder where they hell they are ? Been in The Keys during a few also never as bad as the news wants to sell it as .. Your stuff may be a bit slower arriving ? I got a warning from DHL yesterday for all stuff in that area.. Maybe some or all will arrive today ?

 

I'm mad as hell. They canceled my kids school on the second day!!! It had better storm like the end of the world for me to have to give up my second day of quiet.

 

I guess the Local Officials figure well we have all this federal Money and if we don't roll out the national Guard and activate the Homeland security system then maybe next yr we could loose out huge budget and have it cut so lets waste and spend !

 

LOL!!! Mine too and I'm on vacation this week and last week. So convienent one week with kids and one week with just the husband and I and school gets canceled, but last night the school board called to say there WILL be school today. Woooo hoooo!!! And, we got rain here that is IT, just regular rain..not even a hard rain. I couldn't believe it, but hey I got a generator out of it, just in case next time my lil marine animals will be just fine, unless the house blows away ;D

 

I was glad to get that call. Does not make sense that they were off and it did not even rain, but go to school in rain and wind. Insanity!!!!

 

Hope every thing blows by fast and w/o any damage, I hate for anyone to loose something due to mother nature, other than choppy how's the surf been lately???

Got up this morning to look at radar and that confounded big rain cloud doesn't look like it has moved much since 3 o'clock yesterday. I know we needed the rain, but my dogs think they will melt if they go out in it. I am getting pretty wet trying to convince them to take care of business in the rain.

 

All my dogs learned as puppies sooner you do the deed the sooner you can get back in the building and in your crate and out of the rain and or snow .. I had a few to almost do it while on the run LOL Its either that or the crate They learned ..
