    This is normal behavior for this coral – let it be. He will slim off his outer skin and then perk up in no time at all….unless you start poking at it, than all bets are off. Yellowish and off-white type marks are perfectly normal. These are very hardy corals that you would need to go out of your way to kill off. Give it a few days and he will be up right and doing well.

    As the skin lifts off the head you can (should) remove it from the tank as it contains toxins that could be dangerous for nearby corals.
