True Actinic 03

I have been using PC for my reef tanks. now im planning to shift to T5 and LED. I want to know that is True actinic 03 purple or blue. well iv seen a lot of brands tagging true actinic and then the colour is just royal blue. iv seen tanks with purple lights and saying actinic 03. i LOVE purple effect more that blue and im planning for it. i came across this link :

im looking for purple actinic 03 (i guess thats the true actinic). please suggest other brands too that make purple actinics and not blue.

if possible please post pictures too.

 

You want to look for bulbs that are 420nm wavelength. You will see names like true or pure actinic. The color should be violet.

 

anyone tried ATI Pro colour or ATI actinic or ATI purple plus??? (iv heard that ATI actinic, stresses coral at 419nm)

 

I've used the purple+ for a year now. Along with 1x AQBS and 2xblue+ My corals have all done great under these lights.

 

Well it is going to be for my Fish only tank but might add a few hardy softies(very optional). i want a good growth of coralline algae on the dead rocks, for which i need actinics for increasing the speed of it and also i like the purple blue colour more than just blue?
