so got her saturday, she wouldnt eat just pick and spit at chopped mysis, flake, pellets.. she finally ate a little mysis tonight. all she does is swim fast from one end of the tank to the other along the front glass. then at the end squares off with the reflection. does she need a buddy or is this normal?

if I added another would I be overstocked at -

    2 percs
    1 yellow tail damsel
    1 blue green chromis
    1 diamond goby
    1 red firefish
    1 skunk shrimp

the damsel and chromis could go to a good home, Im forever fishing the chomis out of the sump and the damsel is on the mean side. I still want a yellow watchman/pistol shrimp.

Mine constantly bob and weave. What's more telling is the speed at which they bob and weave, and where they are when they're doing it. Inside the anemone/torch coral, fairly quickly? They're scared. At the top of the tank, so fast they're on meth? Hungry. Sitting in front of a reflection, moderate speed? Wanting to kill their reflection. Randomly wandering about in the tank, slowly? Hanging out.
