I bought a couple of true percula clowns from Reef Hotspot. I've had them 8 days. When I put them in they went to one corner and have'nt left that part of the tank since. Both are kind of just sitting there. Only one eats. The other one does'nt even try, not even brine with garlic. The fishes days are numbered if they don't start acting better. The other fish in the tank are fine including my black and white clown.
Is this shipping stress that they will overcome? Or are they doomed? They don't show any kind of disease. I'm assuming that they are wild caught. Could that be it?

So you have other Clowns in the same tank? Odds are the new clowns are in the corner because they have no place else to go. Clowns are very territorial with other clowns

I have one black and white but I've never seen him notice them. He will swim over but does not chase them.

Also clowns are territorial and will usually stay in one section of the tank what size tank doyou have and what other fish do you have because they cold be cornering the clowns and making them stressed which is why one wont eat

I have a 90 gal. tank. I do have one yellow tail damsel (that I'm going to flush when I can catch him) but even he does not bother my black and white clown.

Just because he doesn't bother the old clown doesn't mean they are not messing with the 2 new ones. New fish will get picked on by more aggressive fish, even if that fish leaves all the others alone.

My set of clowns in my 120 (False Perc.) Used to swim in the corner all the time... In the last month they are now all over the aquarium. I think they just need some time before the venture out and about... Could be wrong though... dunno! Best of wishes for your clowns!
