true percula + rbta, clowns don't care

Hello everyone,

Takin a break for the dalily grind here in my office, doing some searching on how I can help influence my true perculas to take ownership of my rbta. The rbta has been in the tank for 6 weeks to the day. I heard from a fellow reefer that some people have tried taking pictures and taping them to the glass. So yesterday I gave that a try. I found some true percs in a nice big green bta, and taped a photo-print of that up on the tank about 8" or so from the rbta. We'll see how that goes.

Other than that lil trick, anyone else have a trick up their sleve to try?

Yes. I had a Clark's anemonefish that wouldn't host in the anemone I had. When I added a small Domino damsel to my tank,the domino took an interest in the anemone. When he did, the clownfish dove into the anemone and chased off the Domino. He loved that anemone after that.

That image shows what my clowns did just after I fed the real anemone. I mistakenly dropped a piece of shrimp. The femal clown grabed it up and swam right by that picture and stayed there for at least 10 mins with the shrimp in her mouth. I unfortunately had to return to work This behavior is interesting to say the least. You can faintly see the shrip in the mouth of the top clown, hanging over its left side.
