When I bought my True Rose Bubble, the guy there said that True Roses are especially hardy when it comes to their foot being injured. Is this true? I ask only because mine decided to try to hug a maxi jet in my tank. :p

I turned off the pump as soon as I heard something wrong. I let the anemone try to climb out on its own, but it set its foot around the casing and sat there. I got it the rest of the way out a few hours later and stuck in in a colander, where it has been sitting since.

Also, the anemone was in the process of splitting itself prior to it's ill-fated hug of the powerhead, can this affect how it heals?

It's been about 4 hours now and it is cruising slowly around the colander, it has a good grip with its foot, and some of its tentacles are almost to normal size.

Any opinions on the healing of my brainless beautiful anemone?

As implicated in this thread, there's never any guarantee; however, since it is moving around, sounds like it has a good chance of surviving. Just follow the advice you've been given and it should be OK.
