has anyone had any experiance or info on this brand of acrylic tank? any good?

i found a guy on craiglist selling one supposedly good condition and no leaks or scratches, its a 55 gallon half hex w/ internal overflow and a stand. the pictures look nice.

he wants an iphone 3g jailbroken to trade for it, i happen to have an iphone 3g jailbroken ive been trying to get rid of.

im not going to waste my time or iphone if this tank is poor quality, because it would be replacing my current tank

    thanks,
    Jay

its an iphone that has been re-programmed to work on other networks, its a very simple thing to do. just read in a few iphone forums and you can find the procedure.

a simple wipe of the data and it is back to normal.

TruVu has been in business as long as I have been alive :) I trust their tanks and have used them for 20 years... in fact my first acrylic was a TruVu.

TruVu makes good aquariums, but like all acrylic tanks, they scratch easily and won't be very clear after a while.

My old 75 gallon tank was TRUVU. I don't like the closed top option they offer and prefer an open top tank. There are holes for the returns but what if I don't want my return in that particulare spot. I'd have to drill the tank. I got rid of this and downgraded to my 26 gallon. These are high quality acrylic tanks with and over-flow built in. I can't wait to buy another TRUVU tank but this time I'm running with a nano 6 gallon reef ready system.

I have had a TruVu 75 show tank for a number of years until recently. It is well built yet light-weight and had beveled corners. It held up well for it's age. They are sought after now. I would snag it.
