I posted close to a year ago on starting a 300 gallon tank and than a 180 cause the 300 was returned cause it was damaged. I never really liked the 180 after i had a 300 so got rid of that one too. Now, Im close to being done with remodeling my basement (thats where the tank will be) end-less seams of drywall to be mudded and mudded and sanded and re mudded still to be done and paint. I have began gathering equipment over the last month so thought id post what i got and see if people had suggestions or ideas on what i maybe missing. My tank is all paid for and everything just waiting to finish basement b4 i lug it downstairs, its a 5'x3'x27" deep dimension marineland with starfire front glass. Heres some of my equipment:

    ATI 60" 10x80 t5 powermodule

    ATB 1050a cone skimmer

    2 tunze 6055's with a 7096 controller

2 vortechs, aquacontroller with accessories, ph probe, geo 412 media reactor, magnavore glass cleaner, litermeter 3 remote pumps and water exchange module, Heaters...i think thats it

The wall my tank will go against, i ran the 1/4" line thru the wall to my laundry room for top off water and automatic water change water.

My side project inbetween my tank is replacing my girlfriends solana cube. I dont like its dimensions and getting good flow and filtration has been a challenge so i bought a marineland 40 breeder and drilled it so its sump ready. Im gonna use a 20 high tank as my sump, i built most of the stand but didnt take a pic, still needs to be finished. For her tank i got a aquactinics 36" 5 bulb t5 fixture, tunze return pump, a couple 100 watt heaters, and a bubble king mini 160, phosban 150, and prolly get a vortech for flow. The coolest thing i like about her tank is the overflow box i got from gl*******s.com, handles up to 300 gph and looks real clean and professional. Check it out

Agreed, a good thread to keep an eye on. From the looks of your equipment, I would say that you already won the lotto;). Dont worry, your secret is safe with me.:hehe:

Ok, well i finally got some updates. Basement is nearly dun, just a few more trim pieces to cut and nail. Im going to get the tank next weekend and picked up the sump my atb 320 gph return pump and an additional geo media reactor so i can run my carbon in one and my phosphate media in the other. The 4 holes on the right are for my litermeter 3's 1/4" line. It will take care of my water changes and top off, and i have an additional hole for a just in case scenario. The left has my 2 1" bulkheads for my drains and its made entirely of 1/2" acrylic. I also picked up my stand for the tank also, its pretty nice...
I also took a few pics of the wall the tank will go up against now that it has some paint on it with socket covers. :) The black box is my dedicated fish food fridge, 20% off at lowes last week so i couldnt resisit. Fridge and freezer upstairs was taken up to much real estate anymore. Oh i picked up another coral yesterday, for got the name already but figured id throw a pic of it up. I also ditched my vortechs, I had a job that needed one and i returned one cause it was malfunctioning, instead i am adding a tunze 6205 along with my 6105 and 2 6055's. I also ditched the 40 breeder for my gf and focused more on her solana 34 gallon tank, which is going well now. Another change i made was i upgraded my aquacontroller jr. to the new neptune apex, im just waiting for it to arrive.
