lol, funny posts...i didnt take a pic but i am also incorporating the use of a 57 watt aqua uv sterilizer. I like how they help keep the thin algae film off the glass for an extended period of time. I also have a hippo tang and although i know a uv is no cure for ich or disease its a help and its a nice weapon no my arsenal that gives me piece of mind. I hope to start doing some plumbing by next monday.

Wow, you have some really first rate equipment there. I'm JEALOUS!

    Got a question for you...

Why 6 GFCI outlets? Is each one on a separate circuit?
One GFCI will protect all other sockets on the circuit, assuming they are wired in AFTER the GFCI and not before... So this is why I'm curious.
    Thanks!

fuzzball, yeah i just wasnt thinking. I bought the contractors pack and just made em all the same...turned out just to be for looks i guess. I had a guy at work tell me the same thing a few weeks ago, thing im curious about is when i test them and i trip the last receptacle on that circuit the 2 in front of it will still work correct? So if water splashed on the last receptacle and it wasnt a gfi wouldnt it not trip?

Since you have more than one on a single circuit... If one further down on the circuit trips, it won't cut power to those socket wires before it.

So if the first in the chain tripped, all should be without power. If the 2nd to last tripped, the 4 before it would still function, etc. (assuming you have all 6 on a single circuit, if only 3 adjust the math ;P)

    Hope that helps!

K, thanks thats what i figured. Each of those set of 3 are on their own 20 amp circuit.
That may have been my reasoning for having a gfi for each receptacle.

I guess technically it would help you determine where your shorts lye, if they do happen.
I'm not sure to whether or not have more than one per circuit can have any ill effect.

Anyways, keep up the updates... can't wait to see the end product.
