Haha. I love the fridge. You have copepods, reef bugs, coral food, fish food....and beer!
Looks like a good start. I'm totally jealous of this setup. Congrats!

Just did some minor plumbing and dry fits and arranged my bulbs and tested the ati out to make sure everything works. I have a electrician coming by this week to check out my electrical work just to be on the safe side. Nothing like putting a 3000 lb tank in front of an outlet u find out has to be rewired or such.

Lovin it. Keep em' coming. I really love deep tanks. 3' is nice. I just sold my Mini 160 for a K2. It was a toss up between that or a ATB .

Yeah i read yer post about getting the Warner Marine, i was pulling for the atb....lol, i think they are awesome. My lfs has a k2 in a rock bin that skims their live rock in 150 gallon bins, working nice.

It actually only came down to size. The 840 is not that much better than the Mini 160 numbers wise. A 1050 is too big for my 90g. The K2 is in the middle.

The 840 with the large pin wheel will pull around 900 lph, but was not designed to be there body size wise. The K2 is designed to be there out of the box. So it is only a matter of capacity. I really like what ATB has. And yes, the Air Star is probably a little better pump without rotation issues. ATB has quite a following.

I think design wise ATB and WM have their stuff dialed in.
