So i read in a thread that you can put your anemone in a bowl when acclimating it. Then place one of your false perculas in with it and it will host the anemone. Anybody have any info on this dont really want to attempt and have something happen to my fish.

When I got my bubble anemone I acclimated it in a very large/wide plastic container(about a 10 gal container), after acclimation I put my maroon clown in for several hours while still circulation the water and it hosted right away. Then I was able to transfer both into the main tank together in a smaller container without touching either to reduce stress.

It did help that I did get the Maroon clown at the same time so I didn't have to chase it around the thank getting it out, and I also did a water change at the same time, lol

    Worked perfectly.

    Good Luck:)

I just let my clown stare at it and approach it cautiously. It kind of reminded me of the ape-men looking at the monolith in '2001'. They were friends in a day. You will know soon enough.

i have heard taping a picture of the same anemone being hosted by the same kind of clown in a life size size, near where the clown hangs out, and some times it works.
