Tube worm or Feather Duster?

    I took these two pics with my phone. It looks like some kind of tube worm or feather duster. It seems to be attached to the glass in a fixed spot (but it may move! I "only" watched it for 15 minutes while trying to get these pics)

    If the tube is bendable its a hydroid. If its a hard calcium based tube that would snap than its a tube worm.

    Thanks guys... I'll check the tube as soon as I get off work.... it seems calcium formed.

    I.do have a couple of hydroids in the sump (the typical, anemone looking ones). How do I kill 'em?

    Rigid white tube would be a feather duster.

    I can't remember the scientific name off the top of my head but they are a filter feeding worm similar to feather dusters and Coco worms.

    Awesome! I like these guys. I also have an army of pineapple sponges to filter down in the sump :))
