Tube worms??

    Any idea what these things are? Seem to be popping up everywhere and put out this spider web like stuff that strings out from their opening a few inches. I'm guessing they are some type of tube worm, but didn't know if anyone knew more specifically what they were, if they were bad or good, etc. I don't really like their stringy stuff!!

    They are vermetid snails, they cast a web which they use to capture food.

    Yep, they're verms. Some say they're pests, but I don't mind mine. They will populate heavily with overfeeding so do be wary of that.
