Ok, so I put my refugium in and now I need to run the tubing. I'm putting in 2 1/2' tube for my return and pump. When I attach the tube to the pump, do I want to put a clamp around the tube on the pump? Or should it stay on without any assistance? I'd imagine the clamp rusting in the water would be bad.

    Thanks.

No you don't want to use the metal ones. They do make plastic clamps. Here
