Have been in tank 2 days.

How do I know if they are eating, I have taken all the suggestions and can find, and been feeding 8 times a day, but I never see them eat. They hide when i come near the tank.

I ordered arctipods should be here soon. I've tried frozen brine mysis and krill and have live brine but I'm not having any luck

Becareful about jeapordizing your water quality. A 75 gal tank offers some insulation but with new fish and the increased feedings you may see some problems with ammonia and nitrates. Keep a close eye on parameters, if they are thrown off the chances of the fish eating goes down as well.

A absolutely beautiful fish, but a harder one to feed.

Good luck, I hope it works out.:)

I'm not doing very big feedings and the other fish seem to have no problems eating that many times, so I don't see anything hitting the bottom, should I be feeding larger amounts so it makes it down to them? They hide everytime I come near and the other fish seem to finish it off.

Such pretty fish but I just feel like I'm doing everything wrong

It is not you it is the fish. Even people that have been at this for years and years have problems getting this fish to eat.

Personally I would not take on this fish.

For what it is worth a lot of fish eat very little to nothing while acclimating. I have seen fish go for a week without wittnessed feedings and be fine.

Hang in there, I know it is frustrating and nerve- wracking.

I feed my Lyretail anthias 4 times a day. Their meals consist of mysis, cylcops, and reef plankton. They go nuts for all of them.

I have learned that you must make sure they are eating before you buy them. They can be very hard to get to eat.
