    Hi

There good for about 200 liters. (52 US gal.) It might be pushing it a bit for your size tank.

I hear a lot of good things about the REEF OCTOPUS. Think i would look in to that if i where you. Better to go for a bigger skimmer than one that will just to say do it

    :)

i have my 9002 tunze in a 35 gallon with a 25 gallon sump. sump probably only really holds 10 gallons of water. its doing a great job. but i dont plan on having to many SPS corals which from what i have read need better skimming. the advertisement for the 9002 even reads "On account of the high demands in stone coral aquariums, this skimmer should be used only in aquariums with about 100 litres (26 US gal.) of water. Mixed aquariums or soft coral aquariums up to 200 litres (52 US gal.) can be set up without any problems."
xenia is my must have coral. and i have a few clams,a birds nest, monti, bubbles, ric's, zoo's. So far i think this skimmer is awesome. its a quiet little skimmer. my 9002 is sitting in 8 inches of water, that could be why its so quiet.
keep in mind when your purchasing your skimmer any skimmer the water depth its meant to sit in
