Tunze Comline DOC 9004

What you guys think about this skimmer? Any experience? Please let me know. Looking for skimmer for 40 gal. Hospital / QT fish tank. Thanks

 

i have a Comline DOC Skimmer 9011 in my reefpack 505. i need to clean it often due to my heavy stock but has otherwise been running steady for the past couple of years. i find tunze provides solid reliable equipment. the new comline look slick as well.

not sure if you want a skimmer on a hospital tank though… ill let the QT experts develop on this

 

Thanks.Im setting this tank to Quarantine my new livestock for my 125 mixed reef. MY 125 is fishless because ICh outbreak. But when I restock my display tank I will not shot down this tank. It will be running and I might put some not reef safe fish or two. So will that work? Having a QT if needed and display other time?

 

Yep sure would, make sure to give it a good scrub when you make the transition to remove any medication that would still be present
