I'm considering purchasing a Tunze Nano Wavemaker and wanted to here from some people who have experience with this piece of equipment. I'm running a 75 gal mixed reef tank with a corner overflow.

Hello Oldsalt and welcome to 3 reef

I have not owned or used that specific Tunze product, but have used other wavemakers/ powerheads by the same company and was not dissapointed with their quality and performance

they make a very good quality product in general IMHO

Since you have owned a wavemaker I'm curious as to their claim of sweeping the tank and suspending the waste. Did you find it to be an honest claim? I also have 3600gpr for flow in dt and of course there is the endless battle of removing dead spots in your tank. I felt with my flow and this piece of equipment it should help me. Thanks in advance.

Yes IMHO I felt the claim to be valid , they certainly help to reduce/ remove any dead spots, they also produce a lot of varying water movement rather than everything travelling in the same direction all the time
