Yes there powerheads are pricey as well as everything else.Guess it's like other items, you pay for that name.I would luv to get one of there ATO's but that's crazy that they want over 200 bucks...for what? And i'd pick, and did,a vortech over a tunze anyday.

yeah its expensive that's why i was wondering if anyone had tried it.I was trying to see what could possibly be so great as to warrant the cost.As far as tunze products go i have only used their osmolator and have been very pleased with its performance after almost a year.200.00 for an ato is alot but i feel its worth the peace of mind especially when im away as much as i am.
I still am getting a vortech though lol

Red Sea Coral Pro is a great salt for the price. Guys running Zeo and other pretty sensitive Ultra Low Nutrient tanks recomend it. As do I...

    FWIW

Red Sea Coral Pro salt is formulated with RO/DI water in mind, whereas many salt mixes, such as Instant Ocean- that have been around for quite some time, are formulated with tap water users in mind.

Red sea coral pro accounts for the TOTAL loss of minerals in the RO/DI water and replenishes minerals in place of them.

So yes, I would also give Red Sea Coral Pro my two thumbs up.

I would recommend, if you don't mind spending the money(I just can't afford it) D&D salt. It is what steve tyree uses.
