    Is this thing worth the money? Setting up a 240 reef and got one used with all the equipment we got. Trying to decide if we should add it or just sell it and get another power head.

    Do you have the magnet mounts with it?

    If so, I would mount that thing. They are great. A single one will probably not be enough for a 240 by itself, but it will put a huge dent in your needs.

    Also something to keep in mind. The bigger the wave that you make will weaken the tank faster over time.

    I'm not at all interested in making that tank weak. That is WAAAAAYYYY too much water to have in my living room! I have 2 Tunze 6101's running in the tank right now, so with that box I should be pretty close if we use it.

    Go for it. When you set it up, just set it for smaller faster waves, not huge pulsing.
