I've spent the past hour and a half going through some problems with my skimmer. It would run fine for a bit, the suddenly start filling the cup up with water until it overflowed. (Fortunately, the skimmer is in my sump otherwise I would be working the wet/dry vac and not posting here 8) ) Anyway, each time I heard it begin to overflow, I started messing with the outlet and air inlet adjustments until the water level dropped again. Each time, the sound returned a few minutes later. [smiley=confused1.gif]

Eventually, the frustration begin to take hold and I removed the outlet and valve assembly, thinking that it must be clogged with algae or something. Upon taking it to the sink to for a good rinsing, I discovered the root of the problem. One of the turbo snails from my fuge decided to be industrious and make it's way into the skimmer outlet. I guess the little guy finally found a spot that he missed!

Now that I'm no longer angry at my skimmer, I found this to be funny and wanted to share![smiley=yelrotflmao.gif]
