    Hi,

I bought 5 turbo snails for my tank, and as I put them in the tank in the bag to do the usual Acclimatization the bag split and I had to tip them in! I know these are quite sensitive to changes, do you think they will be ok!

Please give me peace of mind!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Your chances of success are increased if these snail were not shipped. I am a firm believer in that snails, shrimp, starfish and some fish really need a long drip acclimation.

I recommend just a wait and watch and test for ammonia, removing all snails that appear dead after the first 24-48 hours.

Good luck I hope it all works out. It's such a hit and miss with acclimation of snails but they can be surprisingly hardy.

When I first started (before this awesome site) I never acclamated anything. My entire cleaning crew was just "dropped" in. including 3 turbo snails, 10 hermits and 10 margarita snails. Im sure yours will be fine, all of mine survived!
