I have two large turbo snails in my 10 gallon tank, and about three days ago, one stopped moving. I thought he was dead, so i lifted him up and he sucked himself into his shell quick. Since he wasnt dead, i left him in there, hes still alive, but doesnt move much, and doesnt have the strength to suck to the glass. The other one is now doing the same thing. he just started doing it today. They will try to stick to the glass if i hold them there, but when i let go, they just fall off. Are they dying or what? Should i remove them?

If you have had them in there for awhile they are both probably starving. I wouldn't keep anything more than 1 turbo per 20 gallons. If you want a small clean up crew in there, you could do better with some dwarf ceriths and maybe a few florida ceriths as well. Reefcleaners.org dude. ....or just PM John Maloney.

Just curious, what are your params? I noticed you have listed in your sig, that you have a flame angel, algae blenny, and a clown goby? If thats the case, you are WAY overstocked. Neither the angel nor the blenny have any business being in anything smaller that a 40 or so. Turbo's are very sensitive to nitrates.
Also, do you have a grounding probe?
If it is a feeding issue, my turbo's happily eat nori sheets. Might be worth a shot.

I actually have the same issue... Woke up this morning and found one of my Turbos side up on the bottom... I think reading this thread, I have too many snails and there is not enough food for all of them...

As for my parameters... they are all stable - PH 8.2, 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrites, and under 5 nitrates...

I am guessing it is the food situation...

Turbos are very good cleaners, but the problem that I've run into is that they are too good of cleaners for smaller tanks and starve. I lost my 1st round of turbos to, but my second round have been in my tanks for months seem to be doing fine. I supplement their diet with some dried seaweed and they gobble it up like a fat kid would cake.
