turbo snail(s)

    Hi all,
    I have a tank cycling at the moment and i was just wondering if i could put snails in there just to keep everything (algae growth) in check with the live rock

    thats all :)

    I would hold off on the snails until the tank completes it's cycle, after that you could add snails.

    I had two large snails die

    I tried to pull one off the other and the one that was taking the other for the ride was stuck to the glass and i pulled it off the glass killing it by mistake :( the other died about 4 hours later really sucked. I have a small turbo in the tank thats doing fine. I actually named him Turbo because thats the fastest i've EVER seen a snail move from one side of the tank to the other!! (about 15 min or less in a 90 GAL! !

    haha, that snail must be quick then! and im sorry for your loss :(
    i have to thank you tho you just reminded me to correct my snail that had fallen over in my other tank!
