Just came home today with some snails and crabs. After some acclimation I introduced them to the tank and two large turbo snails seemed to be "joined at the hip"! One freeloader is stuck on the back of the other, and have been for several hours now. Tried gently pulling it off, but didn't work. Do I just leave them be and eventually they will go their seperate ways?

I have had this happen a couple of times also. I just left them alone and they eventually separated.

I had a turbo snail attached to another who was on the glass and there were two astrea snails attached to the attached turbo snail. They were literally pulling his shell off of his body from the extra weight so I removed them. And I wonder why I have film algae on my glass.
