turbo snials

    is it just mine or all turbo snails clumsy as hell and they always fall over on their sides. i have a couple in my tank and i always have to correct them

    anyone had the same experience??

    We have had quite a few turbos and they all suck. They tend to tip over and cant right themselves so you have to catch them and flip them over before they get stressed and die or before a crab makes a meal out of them. The ones we had that didnt tip over and get eaten either bulldozed the coral or commited suicide on the powerheads. We took the advice of the majority and picked up some thinking they were great cleaners but they really are more hassle than anything in a reef tank.

    I had an issue with one of my turbo snails.... It attached itself to a hermit craband then flipped over. It was pretty funny actually. It looked like the turbo snail was offering the crab to the gods. Other than that, yea mine are lazy BY day. But once my lights go off i see them everywhere going over everything. I have 4 in a 72gallon bowfront and i plan on adding 4 more.
