I have a Turboflotor multi sl
I just hooked it up. At first the collection cup filled with water in about 2 mintues. So I used the longer neck adaptor and cup the tubing that runs from the pup to the skimmer shorter like the manual suggested.
This did slow down the filling time to about 10 minutes but still not working right.
I can't let this just keep overflowing until it breaks in since I am useing it as a HOB and can't let the water run all in the floor.
Is there anything else I should try.

It's gotta break in, but is there some flow adjustment knob on that or maybe it's not sucking in air? Did you go through the owners manual?

I don't think there is a flow adjustment know to water coming in just going out.
I;m pretty sure it's getting air

Did you try it with removing the silencer? Maybe that is blocked or clogged up?
Also check to make sure your air injection nozzle is not clogged (blow through the airline).
It looks like part #8 in the manual is some sort of flow control - that can't be adjusted?

I have blown through the tubeing, it's not clooged. I put my finger on the other hole of the silencer and my finger get suctioned to it and you can hear it running hard so I know it's pulling air.
Part 8 is adjusting the flow of water out of the skimmer, at least if im reading it right and if I close the flow down some it just fills up faster.

So for now I did not put an air pump conected to the silencer..... just remove the air pump and but a small tiny air valve (one of those that you can adjust the air input) but see if you remove the air pump if it will lower... if it is not enough then use the air valve to adjust the air.... i did that and now it is great... waiting a couple of days then i will open more until i don't need it.....

Well I researched and someone else also mentioned putting an air regulator on the air intake. So i picked one up from Petco and I will see how it works once I get home from work.
