    UPDATE

Well I came home today and just the PCs were on, as planned. I did a bunch of maintenance, though. I'm having some hair algae issues (minor, although still annoying) and was working on some of that. Also I was killing aiptasia with some Joe's Juice and needed to rearrange some corals.

So right now everything is in disarray. But I do have the MHs and PCs on. Mostly just so I can see how my arrangements worked out. The way I have my lights due to my new canopy I simply can't work in the tank without taking the fixture off. That is something I need to fix next for sure. But that's another thread.

I guess the only thing I can say about this right now is that it does seem as though the water is clearer. But at the same time, I also have been skimming for the first time in years and years for the past week. So I can't really say if that's due to the lights off or the skimming or both.

The good news is that everything is still alive as of now and all the corals were out this afternoon with the PCs. So we'll just have to see what happens now...not a very good update I'm afraid. Although not a bad one either I guess...
