Turning an existing bulkhead?????

If you have been following my built thread then you know I am relocating my pumps. I have 3 bulkheads that I placed a week ago in my overflow. I need to turn them about 180 deg. since the pipe in them is cemented. Is it okay if I just loosen the nut and turn the bulkhead?

I don't see this as a problem but thought I would ask.

I guess I should have said that there is no water in the tank

 

Bump. Maybe it is not as easy of a question as I thought.

 

Shouldn't be a problem. Just water-test the process when you're done. Don't overtighten.

 

I second that...you should be fine doing that as long as you test for leaks like reefsparky said!

 

Okay that was what I wanted to hear! I will get on that now.
