Alot of people give U tubes some bad reputations. A friend of mine (who helped us get into SW in the first place) has had his U tube up and running for 3 years straight with no problem. As long as you have a high quality tube, everything's fine. The flow going through mine is so strong, any airbubbles that build up at the top when I restart the siphon after cleaning it get shot into the overflow box.

Lookin good. We want water. :D

Looking good! Glad everything is coming together. However, it is kind of creepy having a live video feed of the build...we can all stalk you :) Did you just tape a piece of paper in front of the camera? Because that's what it looks like. :D

Well the tear down of the last 55 gal tank to move has begun, i am trying to save as much of the old water to move over as i can, i just knew that olive barrel would come in handy. i set up a small holding tank for a few thing's, and the rest is going go into the frag tank in the other room for awhile till i get the tank moved and set up in its new home. the leak test on the resealed sump so far is a success not a drop of water ;D , in the morning i start filling the 55 tank that i resealed to leak test that, then the build will really get interesting and fun :) new sand and some new water and then i get to play with some rocks. i just love the sound of running water. ;D;D

this is a nice water storage barrel.
