    yes i have thought about painting but my fear is of it scratching off the stuff i am looking at is applied like window tint they call it self adhesive .

    Ahhh yeah, that should give just as good of an effect. Can't wait to see pics, I wonder if it will be as hard to apply as real window tint (bubbles are a pain).

    are you actually going to start the refugium or just set it up? My reason is that you should have a refugium running while you cycle.

    No it was blue in color not car tint and i have thought about bubbles i still may paint will have to think more on that.:confused:

    The refugium is in a container of it's own, not in the sump l will be finishing the plumbing on that and have it running in a few days, going to use the live rock rubbel and some gravel (corse) from my old tank in the bottem. just need to get live micro algae for it and decided my lighting, t8s i have or cf spots would need to buy. ;)

    Still may just paint if i paint i can do that now the other backing will have to be ordered.:confused:

    THis post is to late Blue 1/8 in. acrylic. Then leave lights on in fish room and looks like ocean. This is quite the build. I have enjoyed looking at your progress. I am instrested to see how his and her tanks look.

    Day 26 & 27

    Another 2 days work done,finished the drain lines and painted the tank backs blue yesterday afternoon 8). today i installed a shelf above the tanks and hung a light fixture from it, i put a shelf above the door for storage of spare bulbs and other stuff. tomorrow i will clean up all the saw dust chips thats everywhere :(with a wet dry vac and start filling one of tanks with water.;D
