hey guys, a few days ago i saw that my LFS had a Rose bubble tip anemone and i thought it was so cool..

i already have a green tip anemone in my tank which a pair of percula clownfish are hosting.

However, I have another pair of saddle back clownfish on this tank and i would love to have an anemone for them as they seem to want the anemone my percula clownfish are in. my perculas REFUSE to share LOL

i was wondering... could i get a RBTA anemone for my other pair? it will take a while for it to be big enough for them but IME the GBTA grew pretty fast.

my tank is 2 years old BTW

a bubble tip is not a saddlebacks natural host, they would rather host a carpet or ritteri but those are far more difficult. i think if you end up getting another rbta that the perculas wil just switch off and not let the saddles in either. and if the saddles are allowed into the new anemone they will overwhelm it if they are twice its size.

the green bubble tip is big enough for the four of them LOL so if they switch it wouldnt be a problem 8)

the rose bubble tip i saw at the LFS is not tiny but it isnt big enough yet for the saddle back but it should be big enough for the perculas. ( they are considerably smaller)
I could hold off until he gets one big enough for them if thats the case.
