Two clownfish gone!

I say your tank is haunted by a mantis shrimp ghost!

 

What is a Mantis? All the rock I have was dead before I had it. I bought one small piece of a bubble type coral which on the bottom appears to have some kind of clear eggs which have been on there since I got it. Lastly I have the rock rubble in the filter I got from the Pet store. The only crab I ever had died but was not even half the size of the blenny

more or less this guy, comes in different sizes, colors, and claw types(one shoots out a cuncussive force to stun fish, the other stabs)

 

O my god. How do i find it?

 

you can watch them in action, starting at 2:30 is how I imagine it taking down fish.

 

If you didn't get any live rock, the chance of you having a mantis is very small.

 

you know I thought that too, but that leaves either 3 dead fish stuck in his tank some where that haven't been found, I don't believe he has a cuc so they didn't get eaten. Last option is someone like a little kid is taking the fish out to play with them, or for a more insidious reason of getting back at him.

 

yea i got a biocube and actually i found where the pump is in the back of the tank if the sponge is not totally in place fish get in thier and get tangled in the bioballs and cant get out,id look thier if the sponge is not in all the way.

 

Ive checked the pump up and down. My clean up crew is fine, just fish disappearing.
