    Yes that is what it sounds like. Unfortunately both a quick killers. If you loose those fish you're going to have to go without fish for roughly 8 weeks, leaving the tank fallow long enough for the parasite to die without a fish host.

    listen to the above. if you don't want to tear down and sanitize then wait about 6-8 weeks no fish and empty tank. I lost fish did to this also. now I believe in quarantine.
