would you guys consider housing a copperband in a 65 or 75 gal tank and same with a yellow tang. (just looking at getting a new tank and trying to keep it under 100)

nope both are large fish i would keep neither in a tank that small. if you want a tank in a 75 gal range for a tang it would be a kole eye tang. tangs are side to side swimmers and they need alot of swim room. so i would be careful.

Honestly, I don't see an issue with it. I have a friend who keeps a copperband butterfly and a tominesis in a 65 with no issues.

you could definitely do it for a while but the tangs get pretty big eventually if properily cared for, at that time it would probably need to go back or you get a upgrade.

I have a scopas in a 40 and I know it will need to go back in a year or two.

yeah so a 65 is definitely alright for the copperband but probably go 100 for tang?

Those two could probably coexist pretty well in a 90 Gallon Longer term.
