So I just got a pic text from my gf and my RBTA has split! I know that splitting can be a survival tactic but I think it split because it's happy (hopefully).

I have had Rosey for about a 21 days, she has grown like crazy, I feed her every other day. I don't feed large portions by any means, I am not trying to overfeed her, but I want her to stay put because of my numerous corals. Here's the thread I started when I got her, you'll see how small she was: http://www.3reef.com/forums/inverts/i-will-call-you-rosey-rbta-86095.html

Is splitting mainly done for survival/stress? Her color is fine, mouth was always healthy looking, no bleaching.

Here's a pic of the two buggers:

That's awesome, just keep the water quality high to help the healing process pass smoothly and quickly. :)

Thanks, yes they are both doing well, neither has moved, which is good. I fed a very small piece of shrimp to each a few days ago, both took and ate. It grows so fast, I will cut down on feeding to keep it from becoming Godzilla!
