    Catterrer

At 51 i'm going semi retired, so its not going to be a company destin to expand, but more to sustain me and prepare my old age. As a Chef on ships, i'll now be a catterer to sceniors , done from my house , no modification to my kitchen or place. Cooking 7 days a week, like i was doing on the ships , but delivering in my own town, radius 10 miles. However i'll be working about 4h per day in the comfort of my home with my buddies , my fish, and Martha Stewart,or Ophra blahhhhhhhh..............But as a business i'll have all kinds of deductions, from gas to electric bills , cell phone ,internet , etc

sounds totally awesome Mud! So, how does retirement work in Canada? At what age do people typically retire? or become eligible to retire? 51 is young imo. Were you a chef on cruise ships?

    Your business idea sounds perfect!

Retirement age just got pushed by the goverment from 65 to 67, to get the Canada pension plan and the provincial plans. Then after 67 you pay less incometaxes from your funds if you wait, but if you take them before time you pay a penalty. I'm going on semi retirement, still will be working just not for an employer anymore, self emplyed lol. Most retire 65-67 some still work till 70-75 when healty and in some domain they perform better than younger generation, experience can't beat that. Some company look for that.

Finally got an ETA my 3 tanks are ready and they're waiting on the 2 stand to be finish with the coated powder coatings and i should get those babies the end of next week. $ 4 500, not bad for 2 starfire tanks, 2 steel stands powder coated and the 60g sump custom made. So september 27 is party time!!! ;);D8):drunk::biglaugh::victory::victory::victory::chef::2thumbsup:biggrinbo:thumb_up::builder2::crown::wave::trampolin:guitarist

This after noon i'm suppose to get pics of the tank before shipping, part of the service of Concept Aquarium who inspect all their tank before shipping, so if anything happen during transport i'm covered with their insurance. So my 3 tanks will be on their way with the two stand who are being finished this tuesday. They also have a better delivery service than Miracle Aquariums, who was just delivering it but you have to provide the hands to take it out of the truck; HOW LAME, Concept Aquarium from Calgary delivers and insure that a jack is used to unload it to ground level and then they wheeled it to your room hows that for service. Miracle Aquarium fell short on everything, in my case anyway. Those who had good service good for you, but according to some merchant i've talked too lately and told my story they say that they've had customer complaints creeping around and now they're reffering these new custommers to other builders including Concept Aquariums...so beware buyers.....
