yes steve, you are correct, Kenya Tree. i dont know where i got finger leather from. i have some red legs that are all living in very wacky shells that bump into everything. + on what steve said, they bud and drop mini trees. i have heard people compare them to weeds in saltwater aquariums. i like mine and it grows rapidly.

Weeds of the saltwater world....I had a kenya tree just like that in my old 24 gal. they spread all over the place. Before long, you will have little trees all over your tank and not know what to do with them all. I use to sell small frags of it on CL for 5 bucks. LOL

Do you wait for it to frag itself or do you do it?

I welcome it then this tank can start offsetting some of it's own cost ;D

you can just wait for it to frag itself if youd like. it just drops tiny replicas of itself. it happens frequently enough.

Oh wise one your prediction is coming to be as it's dropping little trees all over my tank. Do you stick 'em to a frag disk or just let them adhere where they may?

it's gone from zero to about half a dozen in the last 10 days. is that an indicator of stress or just timing as it is?
