Ok so i picked up these two corals at a fish store that were not labeled and hopefully someone can help me ID these two so i can find what care they need. picked up the orange type one for $10 and the green one for $3. I also got a duncan coral but those guys are pretty easily identified.

I had to come to the computer because the images on my phone looked different. The first one does look like a sponge. The second is some form of chalice or montipora. You were right Birdfeather.

would a sponge be soft? This orange one is hard as a rock wiith what look to be little teenie tiny polyps on it like an acro or birdsnest and wouldnt montipora's polyps show on the green one? this thing seems to have no polyps looking at it. Someone mentioned it was an ecrusting green hydnophora but i dont know..

First one does look like a sponge but with quality could very well be a digitata. The second one is a plating HYDNOPHORA. I win again. Eat it Cheryl.
