Well I added my two new tiny gobies which are a rainsford goby and a high-fin goby. It took about three days for the high-fin to finally venture out so i got a picture of him. He is only about an inch big and the rainsford might be 1.5 inches. The rainsford is a little braver though!

    Here are some pictures.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I like them both. They should be interesting to watch once they get a little braver.

    Congrats.

Nice! I plan on adding a high fin red banded goby to my nano tank soon.

well I think he went back into his cave wherever he made it. its kinda hard to spot hom in a 75gallon lol. Hopefully he will be less shy as he gets bigger and maybe a pistol shrimp friend to share his borrow with!

    great fish IMO

I recently added 2 Hi Fins to my 5ft
and my experience was identical to yours in that I saw them for an hour per day
when they would venture out under just actinic light
rest of the time they where hidden in the rockwork

they have been in since Dec 27th and they are just about coming into view during full light up period now

one thing that surprised me , is the size of the food items these tiny fish can consume

When I fed tonight the hi-fin came out of his burrow which just happens to be right in front! perfect! now I just gotta find a pistol shrimp to keep him company.
