Alright so I have been meaning to post this up for a while so here it is!

I spend a lot of time at a friend of mine's house just hanging out, doing design work, and just keeping occupied so I decided to set up a tank a while ago in his place. I was bored one day and decided screw it, I'm going to go buy everything and set it up at their place as I was out of space in my basement due to reptile tanks everywhere!

This was officially my first venture into aquatic life in general and we had started with a basic 28 gallon tall tank. I could find the photos of it somewhere but it was pretty boring. Here are some photos of the tank as she sits! Stock list below as well. I will do my best to keep this updated, although not much will change quickly in this set up as mentioned it's not even at my house although we do plan on adding some cool stuff next week.

Our pair of awesome looking angel fish that love all the new space in their tank!

We have about 6 or seven of these little tetras, they're kinda boring but add some colour and hyper active movement to the tank.

Not sure why this image looks so weird, but here is a shot of our glass catfish hanging out under their live plants they claim as home!

Quick angle shot of the tank to give you an idea of the depth of how we have everything set up. The african live plants we put in theyre look awesome in a tall tank like this! They sway nicely in the movement of the dual filter setup we have in there.

    Current live stock:
    6 Tetras
    2 angel fish
    1 Pleco
    3 Unkown Silver fish
    2 glass catfish

    Equipment:
    46 gallon bowfront tank
Single T5 ballast + Marineland LED system which accounts for the night cycle as well.
Tetra EX70 + Tetra EX40. With these two filters we flip the entire tank waters contents in under an hour, and the movement in the tank is nice while being subtle enough for the angle fish.
    Fluval Submersible Heater
3 airstones running off a TopFin 8000 series pump with adjust ability

That's all for now, more pics later!

You might be able to put a couple Blue Lyretail Killifish or a few Silver Hatchetfish if you can put a tight fitting lid on.

Haha yes, as mentioned I am a designer/photographer and I tend to spend a lot of time at they're house as they are all designers as well. My obsessions occasionally spill over into other peoples living spaces, but they don't seem to mind much ;-) You come to Canada, then we can talk.

Ok cool I will look into those names as we actually have a glass lid under all that lighting to protect the upsplash from the bubblers and three filter outlets. I made sure to put spacing in between the edges of the tank and the lid as well as in between both lids to make sure for good air circulation still.
