Lovely tank, congrats on getting an established tank. Make sure and shoot square on to your target with the bowfront and don't expect to get a wide area in focus. You are adjusting quite well.

Hopefully your reptiles don't get too jealous.

This is a great set up. Take care of it and I guarantee, a year from not, you won't even recognize it. This thing is going to fill in nicely!

Oh I am so excited! I found a local guy who sells coral out of his house and HOLY MOLY what a jackpot that place it. He does 5$ frag deals every day, has the largest quatity of the nicest coral in town and he is the coolest guy ever. He can get all equipment at well below what I have seen it listed online, and is being amazingly helpful with everything as he knew the previous owner!

The three week countdown till a new piece is on ;D

Sweet shot, photography is addicting as reefing if you have the right equipment. I just went DSLR this May and have taken about 10000 shots. I have even upgraded my camera body and lenses already. I probably have $4000 into my camera kit.

Awesome! I shoot professionally and have been shooting for a long time now so I can justify my $10k + in equipment. After automotive modification and photography equipment, reefing is actually reasonably priced which is nice!
    What do you shoot with?

    LOL I bet reefing is. I have a Canon 7D now but started with T3i with the 18-55 and 55-250 kit lenses. I know have the EF-s 10-22 3.5-4.5, EF-s 17-55 2.8, EF 50 1.4, EF 100 2.8 macro and 70-300 4-5.6. I am looking to go L on the 70-300 and maybe get the Sigma 150-500 for birding.

Nice! I started on a Nikon D70, then grabbed a 7D when it was released, then a 5DmkI, and now I have a 5DmkII and a 1DmkII for back-up. Lenses are as listed below:
    Canon 70-200mm f4L
    Canon 135mm f2L
    Canon 28-70mm f2.8L
    Canon 50mm f1.4
    Canon 20-35 f2.8L

A whole whack of goodies to go along with that stuff, but this is my bread and butter. My design work is a whole other story, 27" iMac and my 15.6" Macbook Pro fill those duties out nicely.

    I'm addicted to technology......and reefing!

Nice list, the 24-70 and 70-200 lenses are on my consideration list also. Along with a boatload more, LOL. I have ND and CPL filters for my lenses. Look into a macro lens for your reef you will love it. I know I love mine. Your tripod will be very important with the macro I am sure you know. I am looking into a new monitor since I have a 22" one and it is seems to be getting small for PP. I use DPP every once in a while and alternate between DxO and LR4 for PP. I have also got PSE11 which I don't use much but plan to in the future and Photomatix for HDR work.

I am kind of a techie when it comes to the things I am interested in only.
