    Tank is looking great.

pH does swing with temperature, but your room temp would have to be drastically different than your water temp (40-50 deg) for there to be any significant deviation (significant being 0.1 pH units). I think you're fine calibrating outside of the tank. IMO, being that precise on your pH reading isn't worth the risk of having an accident with the standard solutions. :)

Ok that makes sense, thanks for the heads up on the solution although honestly I was treating it as if it was gasoline so trust me when I say none touched the water. I guess my pH is overly accurate now :)

:). Can tell you're being precise with this set-up and there's nothing wrong with detail. Keep it up. The tank will turn out great!

That's what I was thinking, especially the $5 and $10 bin! Those areas would always be empty if I lived near him ;D

The tank looks awesome and I love the adds!

Ran a full test on my water column today and here are the results! (This is after a week and a half of buffing mag up from 1100ppm and alk a week of dosing up from 119)

    Ph - 8.1
    Ammonia - 0ppm
    Nitrate - 30ppm
    Calc - 527ppm
    Mag - 1350ppm
    Alk - 132ppm
    Phosphate - .10
    Iodine - .06
    Salinity - 1.026

Pretty happy with where I am at now after the adjustments! Now to work on bringing those nitrates down to 0ppm! I haven't had any severe algae problems, or anything out of the ordinary so for now I will just keep an eye on it. It has come down from 40ppm when I tested the tank the first week....mixed up another %15 water change for tomorrow :)

New adds coming in the next couple days for sure!

Picked up some new stuff after testing my water last night and seeing pretty much perfect readings! Grabbed a beautiful Crocea Clam, a nice big chunk of birdsnest, and couple of very cool looking Zoa colonies with some bright pinks in them! More pics once they're in the tank :)
