The scape looks very natural to me aryiman

    just a question
the very highest piece on the left as I look at image
how is that rock fixed? it seems to be balancedon the rock below and then resting against the tank wall

IMO - you want to make 100% sure that the rock is stable and cannot fall sideways down the reef, as it could crack the glass
the activity of inverts , hermits or even snails could cause it to topple

when creating outcrops of that nature - drilling the top rock and the rock below
and then puttying a PVC dowel between the 2 pieces, would insure against the type of mishap described above

Haha I can't wait! I just will look forward to watching the coralline appear on the dry rock

Thanks! I'm pretty proud of my work

You're exactly right. Maybe I'll just move that piece over so that I can make sure it is completely stable and secure! Thank you all for your advice and comments.

More RO/DI water is brewing tonight

    cool

another benefit of not having the rock contacting the glass
is you should be able to get your glass cleaning option between rock and tank wall
otherwise you will have areas that build up thick layers of algae that you wont be able to get to without moving rock work

As that edge is visible from the main room, it would make sense to have that area, just as easy to keep clean as the front viewing panel
