These little annoyances are starting to make me so mad!
In a BB tank they surround themselves with collected debris from the water column and hold it there so the flow can't suck it up... Then when you manually remove one it seems like two more take their place!

So any tricks for removal? I am adding a mystery wrasse to this particular tank in less than a month which might help...?

Oh and they crawl up under my chalices which 1. Makes the chalices mad and 2. Makes me mad when the random debris are pile all around and on top of my expensive chalices!!!

I've got them all over my tank, but I have a sandbed. They do good work in that setting. Halichoeres don't touch them.

I see how they'd be annoying in a BB, but I've got no suggestions for you. :(

Mystery wrasse might take care of them. Worth a shot. I had several spaghetti worms in a tank once and added a copper banded butterfly. It devoured them. Also devoured two feather dusters I added. I had just placed them in the tank and was standing there watching to see them come out their tube, and bam, nailed them both. Expensive dinner for the CBB. Stupid mistake on my part.
