Unsure rlman - never experienced this so dont know with any certainty

a water change may be a good idea
although copper is present in salt water at trace element level
so as mentioned by bioreefdude a lot depends on the volume of water you have

    if it where me
I would watch my snails, and if they go about their business this would then dictate to me the size and the urgency of the water change

if the snails seemed to behave as normal (indicating the dose was at a lower level and as such they could tolerate it ) my next course of action would probably be , using cuprizorb by Seachem or a Poly filterTM to absorb the copper that was in the tank

well so far my inverts are passing the day as usual. tested the water for copper and no trace. already changed my carbon media reactor and doubled the dose. planning to grab a cuprizorb tomorrow. this is in my 90g reef with 30g sump.

fwiw, using a polyfilter pad will help, it will turn green if copper is present in the water.
