    today i fed my red mushrroms some frozen brine shrimp. i washed it good then mixed it in a little cup with tank water and i put it by the red shrooms mouth it and and a little while ago it is turning to a transperant red and its never done that before any reasons? did i overfeed it?:confused:

    Honestly, I don't know if you overfed it, but I don't ever feed my mushrooms. There are some corals that I will spot feed, but none of the softies, mushrooms or zoas. They derive their nutrition through photosynthesis.

    ook well they were not looking to thier best so i decided all the others are looking better accept that one im not sure why.

    It might be a lighting or flow issue, too much or not enough...a lot of variables, but mushrooms are pretty hardy. I have had some release from the rock they were on for a while, think they were goners and then turn up later on the other side of the tank!
