i had an algea bloom, it only happened on my rock, then when i put in a couple turbo snails i noticed they would find a way on the rock and eat it.

It should go away on its own, no worries. Totally normal for a new tank. But the diatom bloom does make the tank look disgusting for sure!! You could add some snails to help eat it, but it will just come back quickly, until poof! one day it's just gone.
