First thing I want to show you is the mesh stopper I built.

these two show how I drilled the edges of the frame and used screen spline to lock the stopper in place and keep the aluminum frame from scratching the acrylic tank.

all of the frags I took from my 75G last night. container contents spp. from left to right: acros and similar, duncan and pavona, polyps.

even the star of the show made an appearance long enough to get this pic. :)
It is hungry but the mysis I brought down seems to be to big. The fish would eat the smaller pieces, spit the larger. I'll need to chop it for the evening feeding.

All of the following are just random shots of the corals added so far. Mind you they all had pretty much just been added so they aren't open in most shots.

Your mystery coral isn't a chalice, but rather Acanthastrea rotundoflora. :)

    Nice start here.

Ok. Cool. Thanks for the heads up on the ID. I just put what was written on the bag. Learn something new all the time.

It's one that's hard to tell apart, and gets mixed up often. It only stood out to me since I have a piece identical.

And I am very grateful that you did! Seems that rotunda is not a very common species in the hobby (based on google search on the latin name + for sale)
but the one frag I did find was identical to mine and $40. :)

Thanks Matt. I'm working on a "true" micro-float switch to regulate a ATO pump and not be effected by magnetic pull from pumps, snails and flow. However if my idea works I won't be able to show it until I get the patent ball rolling. ;)

Sounds like an old school float switch to me. :)
